This pond in Southdown Harpenden, Hertfordshire was in need of some serious work to get it back to its former glory. This job consists of two ponds both that need to be completely re-lined, the ponds are full of life containing a large number of newts and other aquatic organisms so we will do our best to save as much as possible when renovating these ponds..

The job list is as follows.

1. Remove pond life to a temporary holding pond.
2. Drain ponds and remove pond liner.
3. Construct cement troughs to retain soil.
4. Sculpt new shelving areas with sand.
5. Re-line the pond with underlay and premium liner.
6. Connect the two ponds together using a three inch pipe.
7. Cement York stone edging around the pond and the bridge and relay patio area behind the pond.
8. Install waterfall and filtration.
9. Add planters to the pond to help attract future wildlife.
