Today we installed another Oase filtoclear 3000 set for a customer with a very green pond in Hemel Hempsted, Hertfordshire.

This pond contains a large number of fish and previously did not have any filtration so was in desperate need of one. The green water will be removed with the Oase UVC which has a clear water guarantee to keep the pond clear all year round as long as the UVC bulb is replaced every 6-8 months.

The pump installation required a T piece to be installed to divert some flow as the small waterfall cannot take the full power of this pump. A ball valve was installed on the T piece so that the water going down the water fall can be regulated easily. This diversion of flow also causes great aeration to the pond by providing significant water movement and surface displacement which is great for the fish!
