This existing pond had a familiar story, the liner had stopped holding water. A complete refurbishment would be necessary. The pond had a great selection of gorgeous rocks which we would re-purpose for the edging, by lowering the shelf’s the rocks would sit part way in the water hiding the liner and protecting it from the sun.
Notice a fully levelled concrete edge provides the suitable foundation for the large rocks and paved area.
A small pump protected with a pump bag to stop wildlife being sucked up but still allowing the pond to be filtered kept this newly refurbished pond clear all year round.
A preformed waterfall was added to suit budget along with some lighting, over time the algaes and mosses will help this naturalise.
